Lol, anyways missy, I just wanted to tell you I miss our gossip sessions!

My Wish
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,
But more than anything, more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more than you take.
But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.
This is my wish
I hope you know somebody loves you
May all your dreams stay big
Rascal Flatts
(Dedicated to a friend that could have been. Guess somethings are not meant to be but however you are, know that you're in my prayers.)
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
I must study more.
Gosh I sound like a nerd.
But its so true.
I really wanna know that every assignment, every quiz, every project I do has had my complete and utter blood and sweat in it to make it perfect(or close to atleast)
People say Psych is hard, and that holding on to a high GPA is hard.
Maybe I wanna be that person who proves them wrong.
I had a life-changing(sorta)moment a couple of weeks ago
Should have blogged about it but well, me being the lazy soul that I am
I'm doing this now
I was reminded of my love for writing and journalism.
My sister told me that day,
"Do you realise that all your life you prepared and worked towards being a journalist?"
And when I thought abt it, its true.
I was in Editorial board,
I became Chief Editor and the president
I went to SPH media camp
I interned at SPH.
I could go on.. bt all i remembered at that moment was the sheer joy i felt seeing my name in print, even if it was just a school magazine.
Why didn't I go into it?
Pretty simple...i was worried about the hours. The idea of having to wake up at 3am in the morning to catch a story worried me. Now I'm not so sure, I actually would like the excitement.
Why didn't i take mass comm?
Cuz i hate it? I prefer psych to mass comm any day
I printed out a job application to SPH and kept it safe in my folder. And take it out and see in once in awhile. I dunno, it just bugs me.
At the same time, I love psychology. It might not have been a lifelong dream like journalism but it is a dream nonetheless. I though by the time I got to uni I would have my life path settled, that someone I would know exactly what I want. Now I'm not that sure. I'm in love with 2 completely different paths in my life, but somehow that gives me a sense of excitement. I like that my life in uncertain for once
I've been the good one.
The one who had her plans laid out in front of her every step of the way
I knew exactly which roads to choose and how to go about them
Maybe going with the flow for now is a good thing
I don't want to look back at my life and think "What could have been"
So whether I end up being a journalist or a psychologist, I hope I choose it cuz its the right one for me.
That I do the things for me, not for money or status or because something is holding me back
But that I do it completely
For me.
I have to be a better girlfriend.
I feel like I haven't exactly been giving you the time you deserve
I really really REALLY hope you understand.
I'm gonna try, to make more time for you, B
and hopefully, spend more time with u, with school or without
I really need to find this balance
But i'll make it up to you
I swear:)

I really miss that girl
-She's gone by Steelheart-
You Can Be My Bad Boy, But Understand
Why in the world does EVERY girl fall for a bad boy at some point in her life?
Maybe I can't say every since I don't know the whole world but it really does feel that way
The one person whose completely opposite from the kind of person you wanna be with.
Probably one who swears, smokes, drinks, talks down about girls or something along those lines
The kind who sits around like a loner who gives that air of mystery
I think TV itself has proved it. I mean, I know its fiction but still its based highly on the fact that the writers probably get the idea from real life
I mean come on, even on Girlmore Girls(long ended good series though) Rory ends up with the good, old sweet-natured, well liked Dean who treats her incredibly well.
Then ruins it all by falling for Jess(below), the "bad boy" of Stars Hollow. No why? I don't get it.

I guess its the same with Glee as well. Good natured, sweet Finn in contrast to the bully, stud, Puck.

Every girl falls for that bad boy
Why that no one understands.
Maybe its the difference, the fresh perspective on life
Far from the one you're use to
But you don't take home the bad boy
You flirt or talk to him, just get to know him, know what makes him tick
You take home the good guy; the safe, reliant one who would take care of you in the worst of times.

Call It Education
Had the first day of my many many long days in NTU today
Was pretty cool I had to admit.
The free stuff?? JEEZ where do they get all the money from...
The acting chair and the provosts, they were hilarious and absolutely intelligent guys.
Man, i already respect them immensely before they teach me anything.
A couple of lessons and wise words i took from today
"The only stupid question is a question not asked." I really liked that line by Prof Bertil Andersson
One hilarious fella: "You can fail whatever subject you want but you must get a distinction in dating"
There was one speaker too. Honestly can't rmb his name:
"Do not think for a second that this is school. The best graduates are the noisiest, the ones who ask the most questions and the ones who bother to ask the extremely basic question. I teach Aerospace Engineering and I had a student once who came to class and once said: Prof, I know i chose this course but what in the world is Aerospace? It was a question that many cringed when he asked. I however, shook his hand and said he may have juz asked the best question"
I think I made the right choice. Hearing the words of seniors and the reactions of others when they hear my major may have made me doubt my choice at one point or another but there's one thing i'm certain about: that nothing intrigues more than this subject. I love how the myths of psychology the public believes are trashed and torn apart here. Psychology isn't about reading minds, making people listen or pure conjecture. It is the contempory study of one's pure being. Feel, understand, make sense of, QUESTION every nature, every little bit of detail: the differences in the way we react to situations. It is the biological bases of behaviour, sensation and perception, memory, thought and language, social behaviour, intelligence, motivation, learning, personality and development that all comprises the study of psychology. I knew I liked it, I just never knew I was beginning to get extremely enlightened. And yes, I've been warned about the nature of the study. That there will days where memorising the entire text would be the only way to pass. Or that no matter what you write your essay fails. Or that no matter how much you break your head, you would never be able to come up with a perfectly good answer to a question that the Prof couldn't contradict.
But there wasn't a time where I opened a textbook even before school started and tried to read through a whole chapter.
Ah the things I can learn from this course and the people who teach it. Sky's the limit. I've never been so interested to learn so much; guess it definitely makes the difference when you're doing what you love. I finally made up my mind on my electives: ACTING AND REPRESENTATION IN THEATRE AND FILM & INTRODUCTION TO MAGICAL REALISM.
My 4 day week no longer exists but i'm ok with that. I would have a 5 day week to study what i get to do. Pretty excited, classes start next week.
